Robert Gazmarian, MD is in his 10th season as the Team Physician for the Golden Knights, through the Southern California Orthopedic Institute, in Van Nuys, CA.
Dr. Gazmarian was born and raised in Los Angeles and received his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at the University of California, Los Angeles. He then completed medical school at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Gazmarian completed his formal medical training by completing a general surgery internship at UCLA-Harbor General Hospital. Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Gazmarian has completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine at the Hughston Clinic in Columbus, Georgia, which included experience in caring for minor league athletes, the Columbus Red Stixx who is affiliated with the Cleveland Indians, and the Columbus Cottonmouth Hockey Team. He was also involved in the care of many national level soccer, softball, and golf athletes.
When Dr. Gazmarian is not spending time with his wife and two children, he enjoys weight training, jogging, golfing, and water sports.
