In 2002, the Sports Medicine Club implemented a new program, the Annual High School Sports Medicine Competition, hosted by St. Francis High School. This annual event has brought students from across California together to test their knowledge in the specialized field of Sports Medicine/Athletic Training. This day has created some wonderful friendships between students and programs across the state.

Mission Statement:
To enhance the students knowledge of Sports Medicine through a mentally challenging, yet socially stimulating event.

Competition Goals
1. To foster interest and understanding in the Sports Medicine/Athletic Training field.
2. To offer an experience that enriches the student's mind and enhances self confidence.
